After creating a board, you can change its columns and settings to make the best out of your retrospective meetings.

Edit Board Name & Description

Edit board name

1. Select your board by clicking on it in the "Dashboard" tab
2. Click on the board name
3. Type the board name in the text box
4. Click save to keep your changes.

Edit board description

1. Select your board by clicking on it in the "Dashboard" tab
2. Click on the "Add a description for your retrospective" and type the board description in the text box
3. Click save to keep your changes.

Edit Board Columns

Create new custom columns

1. Select your board by clicking on it in the "Dashboard" tab
2. Click on "New column"
3. Type the new column name in the text box
4. Click "Create" to keep your changes.

Rename column names

1. Click on the column's name
2. Type the new column name in the text box
3. Hit enter to keep your changes.

Delete columns

On the column you would like to delete, click on the trash icon, and click "Yes, delete it".

Note 🎨: If you don't fancy the column's colors, click on the paintbrush icon on the column to try a different one.

Cloning, Moving, Locking, and Deleting Boards

In the "Dashboard" tab, on each board, you can do the following:

1. Clone - Click on "Clone" and select either "With cards" or "Without cards".
2. "With cards" will create a copy of the board with the same name, description, columns, and cards. "Without cards" will create the same copy without the board's cards. Make sure you update the new board's settings if needed.
3. Move - If you need to move a board to a different team, click on "Move" and choose from the list which team this board should belong to. Pay attention that if your team members are not part of both teams they might not be able to access the board after you move it.
4. Lock - Clicking on "Lock" will remove the board from "My boards", however, the board and its content will not be deleted. To unlock the board, click on the "Show locked" toggle in the "Dashboard" tab, then choose "Unlock".
5. Delete - Click on "Delete" to permanently delete the board and its content. You can also delete a board by opening it, clicking on the gear icon to open the settings, and choosing "delete board".
